Wedge Big Wednesday

Big Wednesday 2014 at The Wedge

FUGOO Tough took seat front and center at the Wedge in Newport Beach, California during the Big Wednesday 2014 swell brought to the West Coast by Hurricane Marie. The swell has been documented by many as the largest to hit the West Coast in over two decades. The Wedge and Newport Point were by far the main attractions during the Big Wednesday 2014 swell.

FUGOO Brand Ambassador Ryan Moss has been tracking the Hurricane Marie swell and gearing up for the waves for well over a week. As an avid waterman, local Southern Californian and all encompassing adventurer, he knew just where to be and when to be there. He’s logged roughly 10 hours per day for the past week leading up to the grand finale.

“The biggest waves I’ve witnessed in Califonia in a long time”

The past 48 hours have been a rare occasion. An occasion where people say “Thank You” to a hurricane. Big Wednesday 2014 hit and hit hard. Below is a documentation of Big Wednesday 2014 as brought you to by Hurricane Marie and documented by FUGOO Brand Ambassador Ryan Moss.

Big Wednesday 2014 did not disapoint.

A huge Thank You goes out to Ryan Moss for capturing the shear beauty and strength of Hurricane Marie. The last few days have been an epic reminder of how important it is to get outside. To take awe and be humbled by all that surrounds us.

You don’t need to travel far and away to find adventure. It’s all around. Go Anywhere.
